How do I know which type of massage is for me? There are so many!

There are currently 4 basic areas in which a "massage therapist” can specialize in:

-The most common is relaxation massage: It’s what most people imagine when they “hear” the word Massage. One can go almost any place and receive this kind of treatment.

-The second is the least invasive: It is often done over the clothes and without the therapist directly lying hands on the client. It can be very relaxing, but there is little to know manipulation of the tissusue.

Third is myofacial release, which releases hungup or restricted fascia tissue.

The fourth is my personal favorite, "therapeutic massage." This is the “hurt so good massage.” Two examples could include, trigger point therapy, and Neuromuscular therapy, NeuroMuscular thearapy is by far the most scientific and in-depth studies on muscle tissue. If you want a therapist that can work with your Dr. Chiropractors, P.T. then NMT what you’ve been looking for. Neuromuscular therapy is beneficial in relieving sore muscles aches, and pains , built up scar tissue, and adhesion's. I guarantee you You’ll leave saying "You've worked on sore spots I didn't even know I had."

"Know" the types of massage to get the results you desire.

This "therapeutic Chat" was brought to you by Angel's Touch Massage Therapy L.L.C.
